Can I only buy Bo Weevil fabrics and products online? 
Our fabrics and other products are available for purchase both online and in physical stores. For sales locations, check our page of resellers. 

Why can I not see prices on the website? 
Bo Weevil only sells to business related companies with a valid VAT number. To access prices, you can create an account for the website. After we have verified and approved your application. You are able to log into the webshop and have access to prices. At that point you are also able to place an order. 

Why do I need a VAT number to create an account?
We are a wholesale supplier and only deliver to businesses and organizations. If you are a private individual, please go to our partner Pure Coverz, they sell our fabrics by the meter and the entire bag and towel collection.

What is the minimum order amount or quantity? 
The minimum order amount is €175,-, this is the amount excluding VAT and shipping costs. We deviate from this only for orders of fabric samples and swatches. You can contact us for this at [email protected] or by filling out the contact form.

Do we always charge shipping costs? 
Yes, we always charge shipping costs. The reason we do this is that shipping costs per order vary greatly. By calculating the shipping costs per order, everyone pays in fact what it costs to send his or her order. We believe that is the fairest way to pass on costs.

When can I expect my order to arrive? 
We send out orders the same or the day after ordering. In the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, orders are delivered in most cases the next day. Delivery to other countries takes a few days. Orders can be tracked with the track & trace code that we provide on the invoice in the bottom right corner.

What are the washing instructions for organic cotton fabrics and products? 
Our fabrics are washed and mechanically pre-shrunk, and treated in such a way that a maximum of 5% shrinkage can occur when washed at 40 degrees. Usually, it is 3-4%. For environmental reasons, we advise not to bleach, not to dry clean and to hang dry. Bleaching is hopelessly outdated anyway (why is it still on a label, you wonder). The fabric can be dry cleaned, but chemicals are used (and you always get a plastic hanger and bag around it, which you never use again). That is why our washing advice almost always states not to dry clean. But it is usually possible. Drying in the dryer is really not advisable: not for your energy bill, not for shrinkage, but the fabric also wears out faster. Ironing is possible, preferably at the lowest possible setting, one or two dots.

Why do you sometimes use plastic for packaging? 
We believe that in general, too much plastic is used, but we also know that plastic is a very functional packaging material to provide protection to our goods against moisture and dirt. We ask our suppliers to use as little plastic as possible, which often results in only one bag the size of the box, and nothing more. But we are open to suggestions for improvement!

What is the difference between GOTS and OEKO-TEX?
OEKO-TEX and GOTS are both certification programs that focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly production of textiles. However, there are differences between the two programs.

OEKO-TEX is a certification awarded to textile products that have been tested and meet the specified standards for limiting the use of harmful substances.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a certification system that aims to promote sustainable and organic farming practices and protect the rights of workers in textile production. The GOTS certification is awarded to textile products made from organically grown fibers and that meet strict social and environmental requirements throughout the entire supply chain.

Cotton with an OEKO-TEX certification has been tested for harmful substances, while cotton with a GOTS certification has not only been tested for harmful substances but also originates from organic farming and is produced according to stringent environmental and social standards. So, while both certifications indicate that the textile product is more sustainable than conventional cotton, GOTS goes a step further by also guaranteeing that the production process is socially responsible and environmentally friendly.
