Cotton kitchen textiles with GOTS certification
Our organic cotton kitchen textiles are produced in India and Turkey. Our cotton towels are made in Turkey by a family-owned company that also produces our bath textiles. Our organic cotton tea towels are made in India, also by a manufacturer with whom we have established a long and intensive relationship.
The kitchen textiles from Bo Weevil are certified by GOTS. This allows you to trace their origin. GOTS, also known as the 'Global Organic Textile Standard', is an international standard for organic textiles. The GOTS certification means that every step of the production process is carried out sustainably. This means that our kitchen textiles are not only good for you but also for the planet.
Categories of Cotton Kitchen Textiles
Bo Weevil's cotton kitchen textiles consist of three different product categories. We offer quick-drying tea towels and kitchen towels, naturally made from 100% sustainable cotton. These tea towels and towels are available in the beautiful natural color of cotton.
You can also choose a beautiful cotton apron. We offer two variations in different materials: a canvas apron and a short and long apron in anthracite, with the same models available in sturdy dark blue denim. A Bo Weevil apron is suitable for both personal and professional use. It is also possible to customize an apron with your own print, label, or embroidery.
The third category includes reusable cotton food bags, ideal for zero-waste shopping or storing food. The vegetable and fruit bags have been developed as an alternative to plastic bags in supermarkets. These bags are washable and can be reused many times, reducing the amount of plastic waste.
An important advantage of organic cotton bags is their breathability and moisture-absorbing properties. This helps prevent vegetables and fruits from spoiling quickly compared to plastic or other synthetic materials. Vegetables can be stored in the bag in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator. The voile bags can also be used to carry bread and rolls from the bakery or supermarket. Sliced bread can be stored in these bags in the freezer. Please note that the freshness of the bread may decrease. Therefore, it is best to purchase unsliced bread and store it in the cotton bag in a well-sealed bread box.
